Young Zoologists’ Association of Royal College was founded in 1955 and has continued a journey of 55 years. Lately, we have been going through a lot of activities with the advice of the present Principal Mr. Upali Gunasekara under the guidance of teachers Mrs. M.C. Palawela and Mrs.N. Hettiarachchi.  The Association has taken many measurers to educate its members on the diversity of the Animal kingdom and need and how to protect it. More detailed information about the animal kingdom was given to our members through the lectures that were held last year. As a part of the Young Zoologists’ Association of Sri Lanka our association has planned to do more activities and projects during the years 2010 & 2011.
