History

The Royal College Science Society which was founded on the 1st of July 1909 is one of the oldest clubs in College. It is eventually celebrating the 101st anniversary this year. The Objective of the Society is to promote and produce a platform for students to produce new inventions related to Science and Technology.  

From 1990 to 1999 the Society published an Annual Magazine called “Diwasa”. From the year 200 onwards it was re named as “SCi-ZONE”. SCi-ZONE which is the only School Science magazine was established by the RCSA.

Furthermore the “SCi-EVE”, the Annual Science day was first held in the year 1960 and is still continued. It is also the highlight of the Calendar year of the society.
