The History Society of Royal College was established in the year 2005 with the Guidance of Mr. P.D. Gunadasa. Since then, the society has focused on distributing important knowledge related to Historical facts.

Presently the society conducts seminars and awareness programmes on Historical places, Events, People etc. The objective of the society is to produce a community with a favourable attitude towards the subject of History.
